Hi

I can understand how you will be thinking HA always makes us think this way , but try & be reassured you have been to the GP & if they thought it was anything serious , they would have sent you for further tests , as it would be more than their job was worth not to

Also if you think it is what I think you maybe thinking , you dont get pain as long as you have been getting in your arm , well I have never come across anyone that has

Did you mention your anxiety while you were there ?

When we are anxious we tend to be tense not always even realizing it & this could be contributing to the spasms you are getting

I dont no a cure , someone might come a long that does , but the more you can try & relax & accept anxiety is giving you these thoughts it will help again I no its not easy but with practice we can slowly change are thinking pattern , but takes time

When I have any pains , I use deep heat , I am not sure if it will help with the spasms but it could be worth a go

Keep talking on here

Love

Thank you why why xx I just fee like if it's not one thing it's another!!! I did shunt it on the excersize machines in the gym then went on a flabby loss doing the plank with my arms so possibly related x but it will feel like a tight band and heavy pain not shooting but then I think blood clot bone cancer I know I shouldn't xx doctors said keep putting cold as I was using deep heat and they said it was making it more inflamed doh!!!! Xx

I am just the same

I pulled my shoulder a year ago , all I was doing was putting a pillow case on & I felt a pain & a ping & then it was shooting all down my arm !

I knew what had happened but as the pain got worse & hadnt gone my the next day , I had all the thoughts you have had until I went to the doctors

I never used to believe anything the doctor told me , think this comes with HA until one day a friend asked me why I kept going if I wasnt going to believe what they told me & it did make me think well she has a point why do I :-/

So now I do trust them & hope you will feel you can as they will be right :-)

Oh that was a bad suggestion deep heat , glad you had tried it first & not by me saying I use it , keep up with putting cold compresses on it instead :-)

Hope it settles down soon :-)

I use to get pain in my shoulders and arm, don't get it very much now as I've learnt to except it's not any thing bad :)

When we get a handle on anxiety we can control it.

Hugs x

Could you be sleeping with your arm in an odd position? I sometimes wake up with a painful arm (or leg) if it's been jammed underneath me during the night.

If it is from working out and say you constantly use your arm you are not letting it heal. That's what my doctor told me I hurt my chest muscle 6years ago till this day, since we use our chest muscles everyday at all times, I still have chest tightness and soreness add anxiety always tense I have no chance of getting better.

Muscles also depending on age can take time to heal. When I sleep in a odd position my arm especially left side will feel heavy. Also doctor said that anxiety and cause fibro pains and aches and that heaviness is part of it.

Why would you say such hateful things to someone who is only looking for help. I hope none ever talks to you like this. I pray that you find peace for your lack of empathy that must be a backlash of poor treatment in your childhood. Siananne, I hope you find better support and have found answer by now. God bless you all
