Heart pounding loudly in ear after being scared, is that normal?

I think it's normal. It's due to the adrenaline rush that happens when we're scared by something.
Hope you're feeling a bit better now - What happened to scare you?
Thank you for answering. I get scared easily heard a loud noise outside my home I had fallen asleep so I woke up with a jolt.
Pretty normal I think. For a while I always heard my heartbeat if I was lying in a certain position, so perhaps it's like that with you. Getting a fright probably made it louder so you noticed it.
