Hi Lojo
Headaches are very common with anxiety , I to suffer as well as migraines & I no it can make you feel even more anxious which of course then adds more anxiety & results in more headaches
As unpleasant as they are , if we can try & accept these headaches are not serious , but anxiety , it helps to take away the fear , & the less we fear them , the less the anxiety , I no its easier said than done , but if you can keep talking on here , you will relate to everyone as well as getting support & that really does help to no you are not on your own
Welcome
Love

Thank you I do try to ignore them ,but as you say hard all I take is paracetamol.
I find the stick thing that you rub on your forehead helps better than paracetamol.
They just don't seem to want to go away those sort of headaches.
Just thought try rubbing your temples in circles as wellXxxx
Thankyou winter will try that.
Hi...I suffer with them too and sometimes they really get me down. I try to remember that the headache does always pass. Sometimes sleep is the only respite. Hope you're OK x
so am i in a lot of pain and frustrationx
dear lojo17,
i didn't realise my bad headaches were due to anxiety i thought it was just my age, there kind of tight headaches that come on strong one minute then are bearable the next. im new to anxiety it only started last year so iv a lot to learn. but i feel so much better for finding this forum and reading and answering you fellow sufferers. many hugs x
I have had a MRI scan and thank god ,so they say anxiety and I am against meds which does not help I suppose. What do you take for headaches. Xx
Have you looked at aromatherapy. I find that peppermint, lavendar and ylang ylang can all help sometimes with headaches. However, my headaches aren't usually down to stress - changes in air pressure and changes in my hormone levels are more common causes for me.
Sleeping through really bad ones and the migraines is sometimes all I can do
Hope you find some relief soon
