Tiredness

I feel so tired and washed out all the time. I know it's caused by stress but if my doctor says it to me one more time I think I wil scream (not the doctors fault). I sometimes think if my arm dropped off they would say it was caused by stress. Sorry just feeling rough at the moment

Hi Holly

I no what you mean , i have been there & still at times feel as you do

When you feel tired & believe there has to be something wrong & they say its stress or anxiety , you do want to scream as you feel it cant be possible , but you might scream at me now , because it can make you feel so ill

I am sure I get infections half the time because I am so run down , as well as feeling so ill , I can say it , but believing it at times well that can be another story :-/

Hope tomorrow brings a better day :)

Yes Holly it is

Maybe next time go & say before you tell me its anxiety ...that way they might turn round & say well actually no , because they dont like to think we no more than them :-/

Good point

Hello Bob here

I suffer also although mine is also caused by chronic pain. and I suffer the lack of concentration also. My memory is like a sieve and is frightening.

All I can suggest go to bed and sleep, sorry I now lIe awake all night so I suppose that is also why I am always tired.. So life goes around in a a circular haze that I cannot remember anyway, tonight I am watching TV sorry will forget about that as well, will watch repeats anyway might forget them as well.

Pet all I can suggest is please do not worry it will just make you like me at 64. Remember I gather your flustrated with your condition, remember the worse you feel the worse you will get, eventually all this for you will hopefully sort out.

Consider your life as a woodland walk that is always changing, you will meet interesting things on your way. You really need to remember those wonderful diversions

All the best

BOB

Hi Holly, it's a pain in the butt isn't it, being tired all the time.

I remember when I first had my ptsd my counsellor suggested I take a tonic, like sanatogen or multivitamins. I laughed, I thought only old people took stuff like that. But she explained about the importance of keeping as healthy as possible & when we feel like this we don't always look after ourselves as well as we should. So I got some & took it. Don't know if it helped but it certainly didn't do any harm.

Maybe you could try something like that?

Hope you're feeling better soon

Hi Holly,

I laughed at the arm dropping off bit - the amount of times I've come out of the doctors feeling like that :O It's the curse for those of us who suffer from health anxiety especially.

Mind, one of the ways I know my depression is getting really bad is when the utter and total exhaustion kicks in. I'm like that at the moment. By mid morning it feels like I'm walking through sand. I get home and collapse asleep on the settee, wake up abut now and struggle to sleep for the rest of the night. I know it's a mistake to sleep on the sofa but I'm so tired I couldn't stay awake.

This really is a rubbish illness.

I hope you feel better soon.

Love
