Does anyone else feel they have a tight band round their head, go shaky and feel they will faint when anxious? I seem to get this everyday on my way to work and at work. I was really ill last year and still not got to the bottom off it so still get anxious

Hi hunny

Sorry I dont no if you have posted before but if you havnt or even if you have can I say Welcome :)

Yes I have it ,not as much as I used to but I do

I used to call it a tight band or the other thing I say it is like a halo going round my head getting tighter the more I get anxious (not that I am an angel that is )

I do believe it is a anxiety headache & sensation & the more anxious we get the more tighter & dizzy we feel & nothing seems to move it till we relax , so it can be a never ending circle really as we are so tense , its hard to relax & so we feel it more

Have you asked your GP about it ?

I am sure they would say that is what it is & then that would maybe give you peace of mind , which I no we need & also because mine has confirmed over the years this is the case, when I get it now ,I can practice telling myself its not serious its anxiety & the more we can accept that , it helps take away the fear & we can control them better

So no you are not on your own with this feeling at all & I hope to no that helps a little bit

Keep talking about how you feel as well as people will relate to you & I find that is a great comfort :)

Love

Why why are you a 90 degree angle or and angel? I suspect you are an angel!

Ps sorry to high jack the post xxx

A tight band around my head is not something I've had although I am scared of fainting, that is due to too much shallow breathing! Xx

Not sure what the yes & no thank you is :D

Answered the cake on your post & made a very large bet on it as well :o

Husband well....what can I say , you have to learn to ignore them best way really , focus on their uses , i no this can be hard , but if you try you will find some positives some where, even if its just the one , better than none

:D

Hi

I am off work at the moment school holidays:).

But i am dreading returning although i love my job.

My fear is the bus ride although i have been going by taxi but costing me a fortune.

I get anxious then start to panic and shake i become really hot thinking i am going to faint.

The pressure like a band around your head is pressure, ;like a vicious circle in turn making your fearful.

I really hope you feel better soon

Hugs
