Hi hun ive been suffering from anxiety and depression for a few years now. Have you spoke to anyone about your anxiety family member, maybe a friend? However, if you feel you cant do this you can always go and see your gp and see if they can help you but you have admitted the first step of comng on here for help. on here there are many people that suffer from all different types of anxiety, depression and other illnesses. Do you know what is causing your anxiety? have you tried carrying out any relaxation techniques, maybe running or going out for a walk to clear you head it hellps me sometimes.

What are your symptoms, remember we are all in the same position. I no it's difficult to relax. Have you tried distraction techniques. If things don't improve you need to see your GP. All the best. Mary

hi mary my symptoms are not feeling myself always thinking of bad things like im ill and dying im ok when im doing something but it always in the back of my mind i have took kalms and they have took the edge off it but its still lingering.when i have an attack i sweat my heart is pounding and i struggle to breathe and after 20 mins im ok just clammy have a tight chest after the attack xx

Hi. Your symptoms sound very much as if your having panic attacks, these are typical symptoms of a panic attack. You need to slow your breathing down. Try breathing into a PAPER bag. Also try to keep yourself distracted. I find Kalms useless, you need to see your GP who might prescribe stronger medication. Take care, let me know how you are getting on. Mary

so wouldnt this be an anxiety i havent had a panic attack since ive been on kalms but the thourghts are still there i just panic about them like i did always thinking something is wrong with me xx

in reply tostacey1805

Basically panic attacks are caused by anxiety. You need something to help stop your thoughts, I still think you need to talk to your GP, she may give you something to take the edge off it

i am taking kalms at the moment they have stopped my panic attacks its just the silly thourghts that im getting and if i dont take a kalms guaranteed i will have a panic attack xx

Continue with the Kalms if it is helping, but think about seeing a doctor about your intrusive thoughts. Hope you feel better soon. Maryxxx
