I was told that I'd have to wait 1 year for therapy, so I just went down the private route, so glad I did, NHS only offer 6 sessions of CBT and that is nowhere near enough, I've been 7-8 times now and I'm only just starting to get really comfortable with mine. Although I'm still bad a lot of the time, my thought process is changing, I know it is

If you can afford it I would go private. Good luck
Just an idea, if you do decide to go privately, Anxiety UK offer counselling, cbt, and I think hypnotherapy. You do have to pay, but what you pay is dependent upon your income. Think it starts at around £15 an hour for those on a lower income. HTH
Cool, I have a few leads at the moment a couple are income based but need to meet first
