God bless the NHS

Like most people I moan about the NHS but when I read about other members who cannot get treatment because of lack of insurance I feel grateful.

yes so do i, but i think the NHS is a disgrace is many respects.

This is true, I i remind myself I am lucky to have the chance to get help from the nhs when I feel let down, but also I don't feel it's a reason to be satisfied with poor treatment too since we do pay for it too, even though it's free at the point of use.

did you know that the banks own the hospitals in scotland and iv heard that they own the hospitals in england but i cant vouch for that. this is the reason that the parking costs are so high and also the television rentals are also owned by the banks. the television rentals are £10 per day and if you dont use the ticket you purchase or the time all at once it still runs out. the hospitals are only let to the NHS by the banks,people who are visiting very ill people every day are paying a fortune to park there car and be with there loved ones.Its £7 a day in scotland. there are other elements of the NHS that are shocking as well. we only have to read half the stories here, however we are indeed lucky. and i am very grateful just like yourself.

I didn't know but not surprised. The parking costs are shocking. The staff have to pay for parking too in the hosp I worked in. Closing departments but a chief exec keeps his 50 personal assistants.. can't make sense of it.

Do know it has it's faults but we are better off than some countries
