Hey guys just a quick one afterte recent news. I'd like to get as many names on here who want this site to say open. So please comment to let admin know how important this site is to us.

I've posted on Yankee and Hollow's blogs but yes I'm with you Will. There is far more good here than anything else. It would be a shame to loose it all.

This does seem to be a somewhat draconian response to what is no more than a small number of comments that might have appeared to some, as out of keeping with the intentions of the forum, but to the the vast majority of suffers of anxiety, like myself, might be viewed as quite trivial !! I appreciate that the site is setup to help alleviate anxiety problems, so please, please, please do NOT close down the forum, as this is possibly, for most of us, the only lifeline that is available to them in the constant battle against this anxiety curse!

Closing the forum will have the opposite effect i.e. will cause a great deal of anxiety for the vast majority of contributors.

Long live the "Anxiety UK" forum!!!!!

This site has helped a lot of people and even though I haven't blogged much myself it helps me to read other peoples blogs and the comments on the site and know there are other people out there with similar issues to myself.

I think a lot of people would find it very upsetting if the site were to close down.

This site is bloody needed! It's an important support network for people who find it hard leaving the house and making friends.

It helps people by letting them know they are not alone as even though mental health issues are alot more out in the open now days, they still aren't something you can talk to any Tom, Dick or Harry about!

This site is a lifeline for many people, it has helped me find my voice and I'm sure gives hope when we feel hopeless, information when we need it, support when most don't have any, a friendly word and a solidarity against this demon that affects us too much. I think with all of the cuts that are happening in the mental health sector to close this site would be detrimental to so many.

I'm new to this site too, so I don't really know what's been going on recently, I've only been here about a week.

Please don't close it down. There's a great need to share experiences and let out emotion among people who understand because they've been there, or are still in a similar situation.

Hi, I don't want this forum to close down. There are a lot of lovely people who engage with one another over their anxieties.

As I haven't been on the site for a week, I have read between the lines what happened.

Everybody is friendly and gives their advice freely and with dedication.

Please dont close down this wonderful site - We all appreciate some members cant take the negative comments left by some people - But members have to realise they recieve so many more positive than negative responses and for every 1 negative response, you will probaly recieve 5 - 10 positives! SURELY ITS WORTH IT!! JUST DONT LISTEN TO NEGATIVE RESPONSES they obviously have issues themsleves!! JUST IGNORE THEM!! This site is too good to shut down, purely based on some idiots abusing the system...they arent worth it.
