Does anyone else get stabbing pains in thier ribs/back?

They last less than a second. May get a handful in a day.

Hi workhorse, yes I do. I have to remind myself its just anxiety I also get a stabbing pain in my heart its rubbish but I find the physical symptoms come and go, I lost my voice three years ago for a year my therapist said i had lost the will to talk but if youre worried I suggest you get it checked. Pins and needles and an aching in deep inside which just won't go away? I have had blood tests all came back clear. Also had 2 ECG's and my heart listened too once a week for a month. I am 25 and ideal BMI and weigh 9.5 stone. Theres nothing wrong with me just anxiety. If you have these too Nic hope it put your mind at rest that really theres nothing wrong with us

I have this, in my ribs, around my right side, I had shingles a few years ago and that's where the pain recurs, I'm assuming it's a nerve pain. Need to ask the dr next time I'm there, but I'm sure it's to do with all my nerves being on edge. I try to ignore it!

Kidney pains can manifest as stabbing in the back, if they are a recent development, have you been checked for a urinary infection/kidney infection?

Hi people, i ve just joined this group 5 minuted ago and already im feeling alot more calm. I woke up this morning and within seconds of getting out of bed i didnt know if i was having a heart attack or a panic attack. I have also had lots of tests done, on the tread mill, monitors atteched to me 24/7 for a week, ecg`s, heart scan and they say all is fine. But when i feel weird or pain in my arm or my chest or my tummy i still worry that there is something wrong with my heart. x
