Hello Louise.

I was prescribed propantheline because I perspire a lot even when just resting.

Don't know about anti spasmodic but I am on 15mg and they leave me with a dry throat and blurred vision.I hate taking them but they have eased the sweating.

Hope this helps

Thanks ,iv got ibs and reflux, the leaflet makes scary reading with all the side effects,my gp knows bout my hh,yet it says in the leaflet if uv got hh u should not take it

Did u get a fast heartbeat with it?

Yes louise sometimes my heart beats so fast it almost scares me to death.

Sometimes I wonder if the side effects are worse than the original illness but my doctor says it will get better in time

Rather alarming really don't think il take them ,go back to my go I think

You may be right. My husband says as they work I should stick with them. But sometimes it can be frightening if you wake up in the middle of the night with your heart pounding.

If you do go to your GP please let me know how you get on as I am not sure what to do for the best
