Hi

For me I get that especially after the therapists, or stressfull situations.

Sometimes I actually feel energized after like, meeting a friend out of the blue, I think it depends on the person we are meeting :-) and if the meet is planned, when we start thinking of the potential outcomes.

I get tired after meeting friends, having to go Drs etc...

Wears me out

Yep I get tired when I've seen friends, like mozart03 said even if they've just popped over for a cuppa and a chat, I find myself feeling anxious and then completely drained. x

I find this, too. I've always been a very sociable person but with anxiety I get very tense having to talk to friends/people. A friend came over for a cup of tea, a couple of weeks back - I've known her for years, incidently - but I was pacing up and down and even told her I was feeling stressed because she was there. I think it's because we have to use all energy to focus on what they're saying. I find I tense up my whole body when meeting someone - very tiring.

Yes! I get tired after any form of socialising, I think it's because I get so worked up about it and spend the time trying to keep calm and 'normal' that it's emotionally exhausting!

Yes. I have a introvert type personality that means I get recharged by doing things on my own so I also get tired/stressed out when in a busy place and phone calls make me pace so are an effort.

I recommend finding out your Myers-Briggs personality type. It may help you see things a bit more clearly (like it did me).

Best wishes. You sound perfectly normal to me.
