I struggled with depression my entire life. Mixed with panic disorders, anxiety and not leaving my house when bigger traumatic events happened. My life changed when I did ketamine therapy 3 years ago. To such a big extend that I wanted to join the industry. I have always done therapy.. and even signed up for residential therapy for 3 months, but it always felt like something was missing. Even though I was not Suicidal anymore or severely depressed due to the ketamine treatments, I still struggled with habitual depressive episodes here and there and accepting life on life's terms. I decided to Join AA to follow the 12 steps as an addition to my self help process. But as it was not dedicated to depression, but to Alcoholism, I felt out of place.
Fast forward 3 years, and I am now working at a ketamine clinic and setting up a depression support group based on the 12 step program structure.
If there is anybody that knows about in person support meetings, or wants to join ours at Rewired Ketamine in Aventura Florida. Please reach out! This group is free of charge.
Together we can heal.
