Has anyone done Ketamine therapy? I was told by my psychiatrists that I need to do Ketamine therapy because my meds are not working anymore. Advice?

Ketamine Therapy
I tried Spravato the nasal inhaler Ketamine. Unfortunately, I did not have any benefits. I still think it is well worth the try. It might work for you.
I'm a little afraid if it right now because Ketamine was in Mathew Perry's system when he drawn last month..
The article that I read said that he was receiving IV treatment, but that the amount in his body was higher than what they use and that it had been a while since his last treatment. It sounded like he had been taking it himself at a high dose. I would not be afraid to try it in a medical setting. Would you be getting Spravato or IV?
I've done Ketamine treatments prior to starting TMS therapy in Feb '22.
Clinical infusions are far lower than the anesthesthetic doses used for surgical procedures and magnitudes less than the levels found in Matt's system at the time of his death. His recreational usage outside of a monitored clinical setting was an accidental overdose situation at home in unsupervised and dangerous surroundings.
Ketamine infusions for treatment resistant depression and anxiety are safe and highly effective for jump starting neuroplasticity and growth in the stagnant brain. My experience was amazing and I definitely recommend giving it a try. Your psychiatrist is not leading you astray. He is definitely encouraging you to get qualified and genuine help. Please consider his recommendation seriously.
I KNEW this event would shed light on Ketamine therapy, for both good and bad reasons. I hope more people will ask questions and form their own opinion on the newly resurrected wave of psychedelic research going on for the mental health field. This burgeoning sector of treatment will revolutionize mental health in the near future. MDMA, Psilocybin, Ketamine, and more, like peyote and ayhuasca, all have a range of uses being studied and in clinical trials all over the world right now.
I have not used Esketamine, the nasal spray prescription used at home. The Ketamine infusions are in a clinical setting and you will never be left unattended while the infusion is happening. A nurse or Dr will be in the room with you from beginning to end of the 2+ hr sessions. Believe me, you will think you were there for 10 minutes and the experience is absolutely MIND BLOWING!! 🤯 Ketamine has a short half life and will metabolize out of your system within hours of the therapy. Matt's last clinical infusion was a week and a half before his death. There's no way that session contributed to his death. He had a recreational personal stash at home. When he miscalculated his recreational dosage, it was CLEARLY a mistake and lead to events that cost him his life. That's the saddest part.

Here's a podcast from Paul Stamets, the mycology fungi mushroom king. Give it a shot... there's so much to learn about psychedelic assisted therapy.
I have done ketamine and will continue to do so. I don't think that there are really any drawbacks to trying it, especially if you are stuck. ☮️
Do you have to do the therapy forever? I was told it was a short time frame and there can be some permanent changes.
Yes, I went through 8 infusion treatments of Ketamine. It seemed to work at first but after the 8th one it had no lasting effects. Hope it works for you, if nothing else you can say you tried it. Expensive, at the time insurance was not paying for the infusions, it may be different now.
It has definitely got me on the eight track for healing. I highly recommend it
