Wow! That's grim. Does this help you in anyway? It's hard for me to read from my perspective. I know all too well the negatives in my life and I try hard to compartmentalize them. I guess I'm missing your point for writing this and why on this format. I'm came here looking for help and positivity. I'm guessing this is your poetry? And writing down the negatives in your life this way gives you a sort of strength? Please help me understand.
For me it's a way to get the thoughts out of my head and out on paper. Personally I've found that writing, in various formats is therapeutic. Sometimes I write in this form (this poem is a work in progress and I typically will turn it positive as I end it), sometimes it's a short story which has typically been in the sci-fi / fantasy / horror genre. Keeping negative thoughts in my head always drives me deeper into anxiety and depression.
I DO think writing has been proven to be therapeutic. I also have a hard time writing down thoughts like that… but I don’t doubt that they help many people.
Those words are very heartfelt and hit all the buttons for anxiety and depression. It seems like your ( meaning your as in our collective minds) is trying to kill you and it’s very hard for others to understand. Because everyone has some anxiety and depression ( I say SOME) they feel that they have experienced what you have and just managed to “ put on their big girl pants” and pull themselves out of it. That becomes hurtful and extremely shame inducing. I have points where I just have to put one foot in front of the other, even if it is just to take the dog to the backyard to pee. But what else can you do.? I have heard ( somewhere 🤷🏻♀️ ) that major depressive incidents are self limiting. One can only hope so!Hang in there… and thanks for sharing!
