hello all,

My doctor has prescribed paroxetine 1 pill at bedtime and desvenlafaxine 25mg at bedtime and 1 in morning. I was wondering if this is too much. Also i was on desvenlafaxine for 8 months and all it did was gave me more anxiety. Was anyone in same boat as me? Please share your experience.

If your not sure about your medications and dosages, ask another doctor's opinion please. No one here is qualified to answer questions about med's, and it would be irresponsible for any one here to give you medical advice, even if they are in the medical field or take those prescriptions, because meds effect everyone differently....please seek another medical professional's advice. Best wishes....and be your own advocate...if it doesn't feel right...it's probably not.

I’ve been on the pristiq for almost 4 months. It seemed to work right away for about 2 weeks. Then the numbness, irritation, anger and not caring(not in a good way) about anything set in. Also, dizziness, lightheaded and nausea set in. Talked to my doctor and he didn’t think it was side effects. Im doing better since I added .25mg of klonopin to my morning meds. I used to take it just as needed, but this really seems to help. The pristiq also made my anxiety worse.
