Welcome aboard there are a lot of people with lots of advice and it really helps to talk about it.. Your not alone many of us are in the same boat.. Stupid anxiety!!
Hello and Welcome. If I understand correctly, you are afraid of being overwhelmed here. You can go at your own pace. There is so much support available here. You do not have to read through all of the other posts. You can make your own posts and talk to people there, if that would be easier for. Do make sure you are taking care of yourself.

Is there any meetings etc which happen here? Because when I think of support groups I think of being around like minded people sharing stories like in meetings etc.
is this the only format? Threads?
Don't think there's any meeting's as such it's all discussed openly,you will get to know how this works over the coming weeks, and don't worry it's an extremely helpful forum, most things are discussed with numerous people helping out, there's not many things that I've seen or not heard hasn't been mentioned, it's finding out what suits you needs, whether it's psychically, mentally or just talking about your day, or life in general, it helps trying to solve any problems, best of luck and welcome 🙏

Your in safe hands 🙌 here, nobody is here to judge you, after all we are human and make mistakes , life choices, some good and some not so good, I've had numerous difficulties in life and along with separate counselling I've managed to get my life back on track, long story, but maybe another time, it's gone 2am here so I better get some sleep, catch up with you again, and there's the other option of sending private messages if you follow someone, it's quite simple and you'll get the swing of things fairly quickly, cheerio for now 😀
There are the threads and as you get to know people there is private messaging. If you happen to be on at the same time, you can have an ongoing conversation.

there are a lot of people.....like myself.....that have what is called...."high functioning anxiety"....Most days I go to work..."do my time" and be done with it....funny thing for me is that my work creates 95% of my anxiety.....Being here helps me take my mind off of my anxiety and focus on something else.....if even for a little bit...

I am doing so much better compared to the previous days but I am unable to feel that. It feels like there is so much confusion. But I feel hopeful that its getting better
