Heartbreak

Made a friend. Fell in love. She saved my life. I saved hers. We went through a lot together. More than some couples may ever experience if their lifetimes. It was really hard for both of us. She made me believe in forever then took it away. She’s sober now and wants to leave parts of her life behind. Including me I guess. She told me she wants to focus on herself. She’s not interested in anyone. She lied. She likes someone else. He’s a boy. I’m a girl. Her sister said it could’ve been anyone, that he was there at the right time and place. She’s just trying to fill a void with what she thinks she’s missing. I’m devastated. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. She said the same and still says it sometimes even though we’re not together. I’m just hurting so bad. She and the people around her became my family. I can’t just be friends with her. And being a girl, I can’t give her the things she thinks she’ll find in a man. I’m living back in a place I hate too, so nowhere is safe for me anymore. She was my home.

My heart goes out to you. I just wanted you to know I care and I hope whatever you need you will get. Stay strong. Even when you don’t feel strong you are more so than you think. At least thats what I’ve experienced in myself and witnessed in others. I’m so sorry you are hurting. It sounds so difficult. ❤️⭐️
