Hello, my name is Emma and I am new here, I am 25 female from Michigan. Need some advice for when anxiety gets bad and you feel like it will not stop.🫥

When anxiety gets bad emmo1999, check your breathing. you could be holding your

breath or more likely hyperventilating which heightens the adrenaline rush.

Slow and easy breathing. Breathe in Peace and Calm and exhale stress and fear.

With practice this can turn down the sensations you are feeling :) xx

Hi Emma, it's tough .. I had been going thru it since I was 19 I'm turning 57 and it still effects me.. Breathing is great.. Breath in thru your nose and hold it for 7 secounds and let it out thru your mouth and say relax ..

Go to the dollar and get some happy face stickers and place them around your home and right on them a happy place when u didn't have anxiety .. Look at the happy face sticker and day dream when u were there, and when your not having anxiety .. Cherish it and have happy thoughts and tell your yoursel I can beat this and this is how life should be.. But I would strongly recomend therapy, way better than any drug.. Lots of way to cope and ways to trick your brain to not thinking about anxiety!!

Here is one thing I use, along with breathing . It has help me many times. Try putting yourself in the most beautiful spot you’ve ever been in in your life. For me it’s a wave I’m riding in Hawaii or a river in the mountains.

Many forms of medications are helpful to take our minds to a more calm and peaceful place, thus lessening anxiety’s awful hold on us
