My best suggestion is to get help for yourself through some therapy or support group. My daughter suffers from mental illness and it is important for me to take care of me so I can be there for her.
It is her responsibility to get help for herself. And other than suggest it, I can’t make her go for counseling or get meds.
Glad you’re here. Keep coming. I’m sure there are people who can identify with and help you.
A short reply, but it sounds like you are doing an amazing job of supporting her. Just be there for when she needs you, everyones experiences are slightly different but there is light at the end of the tunnel (I hope) keep talking to her and go at her pace. HTH
You have my support, it is a hard position you are in. My poor Mother went thru it with me, it has dogged me all my life, just came out of a 3 year spell, we found an antidepressant that works for me including the anxiety, I take Cymbalta 50 mg a day. I am hoping and praying at 78 it works for the rest of my life. I also have a wonderful therapist, she gives me love, support, encouragement and big hugs. I used to go to her office, but because of the virus we do phone talk........Write to us, we offer love, support and help. Help her but not too much, she has to help herself, and you need to keep your sanity., sending love, hugs and peace.......
Seems like you are very supportive towards here. Just being there for her is enough. Hope your appointment goes well and everything will work themselves out
