Good rumination distraction

littlefightingfish profile image

Has anyone else tried Diamond Art while playing calm, nature sounds?

Helps with my severe anxiety and tendency to horribly ruminate. Its quite therapeutic and keeps my focus away from overwhelming, negative thoughts that otherwise make me spiral. (Another hack: Try jazzhop music on background on days depression hits hard).

Hope it may help anyone here too.🙏🏻

Sending hugs and rainbows to everyone needing it today. 🌈

I have done diamond art. It can be a very good distraction for an overly active mindset. It can be a a way to reset when your thoughts seem to be “stuck”. As far as crafting goes, it is also relatively inexpensive.

My daughter used diamond art to quiet her mind as a gift she made for me.

It was stunningly beautiful and meant so much knowing the work and love that

went into it. :) xx

The art is gorgeous. Unfortunately, I’m not artistically inclined. However music is so therapeutic to me. I work 3 PM to midnight shifts 5 days a week. In the evening when it gets quiet, I play various types of music thru using You Tube on my cell phone.
