Distractions

Broke up with my partner yesterday and I’m feeling a little down. Any ideas on how to mend a broken heart or how to get distracted?

Do you exercise? Maybe go to the gym a bit more right now. Good endorphines and distractions! Perhaps find a cause to volunteer for? Keep connected to at least one really good friend and family member.

Stay off social media if you have mutual friends. Could see upsetting posts!

Keep coming here! We got you!

How to mend a broken heart RaqXO ? With Time...they say "time" heals all. But while you are in healing mode, I agree with Jimmyjimmy and Pearl67 and that is keep busy. Life has a lot of surprises in store for each one of us but we need to be out there living. Now is the time to also focus on yourself. We learn from life's experiences. We are here for you, you're never alone xx

How much time?

I find myself not wanting to do anything or be around anyone. I seem to always revert back to that one day.

Weaty there is no set time in healing from a loss. We all grieve in our own way. It's not about not caring anymore but not feeling the pain as much. The memories will always be there but in time they start to fade. x
