Mom and Friends

One of my friends has a crush on someone. I told my mom about it and now my friend is mad at me. Did I do something very bad? I know I would get pissed if she told her mom. But my mom gets worried when I don’t tell her anything because I wen through that phase and was later diagnosed with depression. So I just wanted to satisfy her. Just for a context. I now live in Europe. My mom lives in Middle East Asia and her mom, East Asia.

Please don't doubt yourself. You have your reasons for sharing things with your mum x it wasn't really explained in your post... did you tell the friend that you confided in your mum or has the information somehow got back to your friend and caused a problem? My sister lives on the other side of the country to me and I tell her stuff about my friends because I know its a safe space. She doesn't know the people or can use the information in anyway, it just bonds us abit more. I wouldn't share private things about a friend to anyone my friend knows as I've learnt that lesson along time ago 🤣 loose lips sink ships 🤣... (an old saying) 🤣

Well if I was the friend then I'd completely understand that x sometimes people react before they think it through so hope your friend thinks it through then gets it xx
