kidney!

so I have terrible anxiety and depression. I also had a heart attack last July. Had to have stents put in. Went to cardiologist yesterday to get results of blood test. He said my kidney function was a little off did I want to see a kidney specialist. I said no. Anyone know about gfr. Mine is 49.

Thank you for the reply. I’ve read that also. But it could be coming from meds but I understand once the damage is done it’s done. I can only try to prevent it from going lower. I also read that there is a ratio between numbers(I don’t know what they are) that are taken into consideration. The cardiologist didn’t seem like it was a big deal but he is strictly heart concerned. Thank you again.
