Feeling low

I just feel so down.maybe it's coming off citalopram after 20 + years.now on 5mg of vortioxetine.only been a week but guess it takes time to get into system.keep bursting into tears.even in the shop. I just feel so lonely and just realised I not spoke in 5 days.

Hi there you are up against it in every sense of the word please give it time to work and watch out for any problems you may get with any new medicine given time things things will improve i wish you all the best take care !

I go for long stretches without talking to anyone too. Changing meds is rough. I hope you feel much better soon.

I am so sorry Skyp! Changing meds is gnarly on the emotions. I have missed about 5 or 6 days of my meds now due to changing pharmacies and I am more irritable, more prone to cry, and just emotional. It helps me to remind myself there are some serious physical changes going on with meds.

Vortioxatine can take 6 weeks to work, hang on in there.

They putting dosage to 10mg.just wish I would stop crying 😢

Crying is healing, we all carry so much sadness within us but when the medication works it will stop. Believe me I have been there
