I’m sorry for all the posts but it helps me feel less alone.
I drank the first bottle of prep and it was pretty disgusting. I felt a little nauseous right after but it subsided. I’m nervous to drink it again in the morning.
I’m also starting to get nervous for my procedure. I haven’t had an IV in a while so that’s scary to me. I also am afraid the anesthesia will make me sick

Try some box breathing before you go to your appointment. Close your eyes inale for a count of 4, hold for a count of 4 and exhale for a count of 4. Also the number doesn't really matter, you can make it to whatever number works for you. As long as it's inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth in a slow fashion. Maybe even on the exhale, let out a sigh.
You will be okay. You got this. I agree those meds taste God awful. You would think they could make it flavorful 😂 Don't worry about getting sick at the place in fact it's the perfect place to get nauseous at because you got nurses.
But you will be okay and we will be right here waiting for another update from you 🫂❤️
Hello Daisy please don't apologise that's what this site is for 🤗 your doing so well you've had the drink and wasn't sick so foccus on that it be same with next one, I'm feeling bit anxious myself as my colonoscopy be within four weeks but I'm foccusing on that it really wasn't so bad last time,I was quite relaxed with what they gave me, soon passed I think it's often the before hand worries that are worst than when we get there, we tend to imagine the worst especially when have anxiety so remember it's just in your mind, I had a call from hospital yesterday regarding do I want to be put to sleep or gas n air, as I was fine last time and it's not a long procedure I don't see point in having someone with my 24hours,as I live alone, and have my pet to see to I don't to feel groggy, but if your really afraid then this maby best option for you, there doing these procedures all day long there safe well monitored, there's really nothing to worry about, I'll watch out for your next post, take care it soon be over ❣️🧚

I’m glad you got an appointment soon! I will be thinking of you then. I’m counting down the hours until this is done. Having a lot of anxiety this morning
Hi thanks, have you got some relaxation techniques you can do and something to distract your thoughts whens your appointment who's going with you are they driving you
you'll be straight out if you go for the going to sleep one, you best discuss your fears when your there and theyl suggest what's best for you, I'm sure they have had similar people to you, therel be nothing in you, so won't produce sick, I have a relation who is sick if sees someone been sick or talking about it she bokes, and another relation who' used to be sick easy he's ok now tho as got older, have you tried having hypnotherapy regarding your sickness I' know it's too late now, thats great your dad's nice and going with you I have my mum going with me, she tends to get more anxious than me tho so that's a worry for me as she's 84 on heart meds but insists on going she'd be more anxious if wasn't with me
hang in there ! The worst part is the prep. The procedure is not bad. Tell them your concerns about the anesthesia maybe they can do something to help the sickness afterwards. Keep your head up!!
