I've been putting off going to the hospital to get checked out for about a week now. I keep having these squeezing and sharp pains in my sides. And I'm just too anxious about going if I should or not. I've just been sleeping when it starts, it helps. But then it comes back later. And I just had 2 teeth removed Wednesday morning . I do have bowel issues, but I'm not sure if something serious or something not major. I'm just looking for advice I guess. Sorry if I seem annoying in any way. Just hospitals scare me

Do you have a primary care physician with an advice line?
I have a primary care Dr, but no hotline. And they don't open til Monday. I've tried everything. Rest, drinking more water. I'm not sure what else to do. And I don't want to seem dumb by going if it's something minor. But it'll also help ease my mind if it's nothing serious and knowing I went to make sure
If it's been a week, and it's not getting better, it doesn't hurt to get it checked out, especially if you can't figure out what's wrong. There might be an urgent care open if you really need to go.
Ill probably eat then wait half an hour and go. Because they practically starve you there waiting for results and all
I hope it turns out that it’s nothing to worry about. Let us know.
I pray it's something minor. I don't like hospitals too but you have to do this for your mind to be at rest.
I would go. There is something going on there. I have pains on my left side and it took over 5 years to diagnose. Nobody ever thought about my spine. Found out I have two bulging discs. I went to a urologist, our if all people, and they found my issue. You wouldn't go in if there wasn't anything going on. But your body is telling you something is wrong. So go.
Thank you. I'm going soon. I ended up sleeping yesterday because of the pains in my back
Awesome. I hope they will find what is going on.
I'm glad you decided to go. If it's nothing to worry about after they check you then you won't have to worry
Let us know how you make out
I hope you feel better soon

I hear you loud and clear. Been there many times. Probably should have the pain checked out ASAP and then follow up with pcp. This way you will know if its something serious or not. I was told that I was crazy and nothing was wrong on several occasions. I knew then it was the anexity taking over. Seek help, the sooner the better. Take care.
You might try doing a bland diet for a while and see if that makes a difference especially if you have bowel issues. Maybe eat just soup and bone broth and possibly yogurt.
I'm glad you decided to get checked out, especially if it's something that's been going on and not going away. Don't ever 'feel dumb' about going to get checked out. Better to be safe and find out what's going on.
