Sertraline 50mg

I know everyone is affected differently but I don't know how long these side effects are supposed to last I feel so rubbish I mean anxiety never been better but physically feel nauseated, weak, tired, hungry but it's hurts my mouth to eat its weird? Anyone else had any of these side effects?

I think setraline is the same thing as Zoloft? If so, I took one pill of Zoloft twenty years ago, and I called the doctor to be taken off of it immediately. I thought I was breathing strange, my heart didn't feel right, and I felt like I was going to die. The doctor made me switch from Wellbutrin, thinking it might work better since I wasn't smoking anymore, but I asked to be switched back. I guess my point is, maybe you can try something else.

Yeah I think it is the same thing? I will give it a few months and see how I feel and if I continue to feel awful will ask to be switched to something else x

I have been taking sertraline first was 50mg and now I’m taking 100mg. I get the tiredness still also weakness and hunger. The tiredness I have been told is something that I can expect to have throughout the time of taking it. The other side effects do subside but they come and go. If you’re worried about the side effects speak with your doctor and discuss what can be done.

l don’t take Sertraline so can’t comment on side effects, but if l felt like you do, l would not tolerate being so ill and would go back to the doctor and tell him that it’s not suiting me. My pharmacist said medication should make you feel better not worse. There are lots of drugs that l can’t tolerate and can’t have, but there are lots of alternatives. Don’t suffer in silence Yumz.

This is one of the few meds that I have never tried, but I know that it takes usually 6-8 weeks to reach therapeutic dosage.

In the mean time (with your side effects), you can call your doctor of what is going on, and see what he/she has to say if you need to.

Hopefully your side effects will get better over time.

When i went from 25 to 50 is when i had side effects that lasted on and off a few weeks, nothing exactly like you described but eventually they passed

I won't take any pills anymore they are all garbage that make me feel worse than I did before. Every pill I've tried has had terrible side effects and I'm done being a lab rat experiment. Our grandparents never needed antidepressants and their generation was fine. These pills are why people are losing their minds. There is no real medical data farther than 50 years on any antidepressant. It's all a joke

I’m currently on day 5 of taking sertraline 50mg. Am feeling light headed and tired with the odd hot flush as well. I don’t seem to be overthinking as much though which I’m pleased about. Hoping the side effect stop for us

has anyone else experienced hot flushes that last about 20-40 seconds when starting this?

Hi yumz, how did you get on with sertraline? I've been taking it for a week and have hot tingly skin, severe nausea and loss of appetite. Not sure if I should stop or perciveer with it.

I must admit that's exactly how I felt to start of but it turned out I had the flu so now it's great must admit appetite isn't great but I was happy to loose the weight so I would recommend to see how you get on and if your still not happy go to your GP x
