Anxiety and learning

Just sayin'...Anxiety is multi-faceted. While I have managed to conquer some of its "thorny spines," I am still met by its "ugly head," so often. I'm a school teacher. I love my job and my profession. I am often reminded of the struggles of my students when I'm forced into the role of adult learner. My anxious brain literally "rejects" new information as I study new topics. It's as if things are written in another language when I am presented with new info. I realize that it's up to me to recognize and redirect my unfounded worries. But I'm often reminded just how strong anxiety tries to hold on. I got this. I know I'll work through it. I just have to share my feelings with those who understand. 🙂
