Find something that restores your hope
The stress and anxiety forces you into a dark pit where your hope is obscured
For me it was in truth returning to faith in god
I had a long conversation with a young man last night who was dealing with heartbreak as with most young men he was just starting his path but he was lacking a compass to help him navigate through life.
God worked through me to deliver a message of hope for that young person and I prayed for him afterwords also.
And so now when I find myself in those dark places I seek council and comfort not In men but In Jesus and my life has been transformed.
Pick up a bible and start reading sister for every problem he has provided comfort.
I have always found that a good workout at the gym provides short-term relief.
I’ve been using the Tapping Method and it seems to be working for me.
there are several things that I do to help me process....artwork like that in my profile...helps me to focus on something positive....I have a mala necklace that i use to count the beads on that helps me to focus on something other the negative(it's definitely like tapping)....journaling helps me get out the feeling that I'm dealing with(or not dealing with)...so i can deal with it now and later....exercise always gets the endorphins flowing and the mind working....main thing for me is finding time to do 1 or all of it.....also trying to learn how to play guitar.....

Learn and practice simple mindfulness meditation in order to realize that you are not your thoughts and that they can flow in and out of your mind like clouds and you don't have to attach to them. It's our thoughts and how we react to them that cause us our issues. Realizing that you have control over whether to believe your thoughts or not is very self-empowering.
