What is your experience with cannabis?

I was never much of a smoker in college and took a 36 year break from weed. As a recreational drug, it never really floated my boat. More recently, however, I have found it to be very effective in small quantities for anxiety, so much so that some days I will take 4 or 5 hits instead of taking an Ativan or an Ambien at night. I have actually smoked very little - I bought 1/4 ounce (~28 grams) in April 2020 and have not even gone through half of it as of late November 2023, so I don't really feel like I'm abusing it

I'm interested in hearing about other peoples' experience. Thoughts?

hi, that is great. I want to try the gummies during the day for anxiety, but I do take ativan during the day, and am afraid it may not be good to mix. So I don't know yet.....plus, I want to be able to drive I suppose if I have to....people will probably have some good input...

I've been smoking off and on since I was a teenager. (50 yrs.) I grew up in the late 60's and it was very popular. I am now 70 and still smoke a little a few times a week if I'm feeling pretty good (Less anxiety/depression) and it makes me feel even better. :) When I'm depressed and anxious and smoke some I can't even tell I smoked any. Go figure. Thinking about trying to get some medically because I would like to try some gummies too. Good luck.

You should consider it.

Hi there's been reaserch on chamomile tea if you drink regular it does contain a benzo like natural drug, smoking is bad for your lungs arteries and will most likely lead to hard arteries and asthma or COPD and the risk of addiction I self medicated with alcohol and there's always the chance if you are taking addictive things regular or leaning on as a crutch and get out of hand, I only drink when in company now and chamomile tea is my substitute please look this up, I go for the more holistic approach these days releasing natural seretonin from exercise, my mam and so many I know have coronary heart disease from smoking a relation from the canabis someone in my nebourhood has a bad cough from this he's not even 4o, I never felt like I was abusing alcohol at first just reminded me of that with your last words, so yeu my advice is leave off it 🤗

Thats kind of how I feel. I have to be very careful about the amounts smoked, given that modern pot is MUCH more powerful that bthe stuff I had in the 80's. I recently found there a fine line after which a mellowing dose turns into a paranoid dose.
