Trying out homeopathy. Holistic healing

Against_the_current profile image

Mom saw me crying out of nowhere all the time and she's a pharmacist and lives homeopathy and took me to a homeopathic doctor, prescribed me 9 meds(ik it's a lot but it's for just two months) . It might be placebo but i feel a bit better. Also been taking calium forsoricum (if im spelling it right, these things are like potions) and Bach flower remedies and they helped a bit too. Aurveda didn't help much but i didn't get ashwaganda(again idk if im spelling it right). What do you think of alternative medicine? I like alternative rock so why not alternative medicine 😅

I have never tried alternative medicine but if it works for you then it has to be good right?

I use a lot of alternative meds, turmeric, Ginkgo, ashwagandha, Rhodiola. I use a red light therapy box. Tulsi Tea. Probably other things I'm forgetting.

Everyone is different and I think alternative medicine should be available to everyone and that it's fine to use alternative, Western, folk, and holistic remedies. I'm pleased you seem to be getting some relief and have the courage to attempt new paths to healing. I'm going to be very interested to read about how you get on with this new course.

How are your classes going? Are you doing anything fun?

It's really nice at master's degree but we're usually freed from classes and exams which seems good but idk, i want more time in university

That makes sense to me. That's where you thrive and excel, where your brain is engaged and active.

The success rates of conventional medicine aren't that great, so why not? Fewer side effects with homeopathy!

Ikr!

Some people are very sensitive to pharmaceutical drugs and often cannot handle the side effects… these people will often benefit from lower doses offered by homeopathic remedies… Dr Samuel Hanamann was the founding father of this therapy.. “like cures like” a tiny amount of a toxin or pathogen can trigger your own bodies immune system to make an antigen to the things that has bought you disease…ai have tried nux vomica and kali phos to good effect also biochemical tissue salts…

Aswaghanda is very good at restoring cortisol levels often caused by long bouts of chronic stress and anxiety.

Keep an open mind and try these remedies our forefathers used at a time when pharmaceutical was less in control… you just never know what will work for you … until you try it!

Be well.

I actually prefer alternative medicine because they are more natural

I believe present day medicine started out the same way as alernative medicine - mostly plant-based. At least it actually does no harm.

How is this approach working for you?

Sometimes helps, sometimes have more dreams

Are the dreams bad ones or just vivid?

I don't know. Really bad repeating ptsd nightmares

SoporRose profile image
SoporRose in reply to Against_the_current

Could it be that you're having more dreams because your mind is getting strong enough to handle them?

I don't know, i don't think it works like that

I hope the dreams are fading and that you’re able to rest.

I hope so, too.

From your other post, it sounds as if you have some fun opportunities coming up. And I know how classes stimulate your mind. Your weekend does sound incredibly busy, but I hope you enjoy it.
