why is it so hard to remember that I can get thru hard mental health times like I have before?

you can do it
I go through this all the time, and I agree with Hidden with thinking about writing a survival list of instructions down being a worthy strategy to explore!
My thoughts wander to the idea that often times when we are going through really hard mental heath stretches, is that our very systems of self-confidence oftentimes are under attack. So it is important to remind ourselves that our everyday tools we normally might have access to when faced with challenges aren’t at our disposal when we’re suffering an attack to our mental health. But these tools do exist within ourselves and so that’s why creating some external system to help us grope around in the darkness for those tools is important.
I am merely expanding on your great suggestion!
I like that idea as well ❤️❤️
That’s how I feel…. Like I’ve learned things to cope but honestly in the thick of it all of those tools seem to be unattainable.
I went through a huge dip this weekend and had to keep telling myself that I will have these times and they will pass, but boy it's hard in the moment!
Been there. I understand. But, do give yourself grace because you have gotten through it before. You are resilient. You are strong. You are worthy. And you'll be ok.
