I woke up today feeling completely overwhelmed and anxious, my head was in a deep fog. I had no idea how I was going to get through the morning let alone the day. But I did. I reminded myself that any emotion never stays the same and that this was only a temporary state of mind. I felt better as the day went on and now that it's night time, I'm actually feeling pretty good. I did make conscious efforts to help myself during the day and exercised after work. So for those of you who think you can't get through a part of the day or the entire day, know that you can and you will... And you're never alone with your feelings. Please feel free to share how your day went 😚

Thank you for your post Dogsandtennis. It gave me hope and made me feel better. Yesterday was so awesome and today has been rough. My morning anxiety was hell and I had no where to go to escape. I reached out to my boyfriend (works out of town) and he didn’t have time for my “nonsense” that stresses him out and puts him bad mood. I rarely lean on him for this reason, but was especially lonely and fearful today for some odd reason. I just had a good cry and now I’m chillin with my 3 pooches watching stupid reality tv shows. The storm has passed for now.

My day was better than yesterday. I was tired after work and didn't bother to do yoga, meditate or even interact with this group and I regret that. But today I was feeling a little better about my job although I still feel a disconnect. I have difficulty concentrating at times.
Having a better day today than yesterday is something to feel good about. We always strive for a little bit better, right? I completely hear you about feeling disconnected from work. Perhaps that's not altogether a bad thing. Wishing you an even better day tomorrow 🤗

I had a good day too. I got some very good advice two days ago from some terrific people on this forum and it has helped to reboot my mindset. Taking one step at a time. Wishing calm and peacefulness for each of you!
