Having the courage to walk away

One of my friends tells me how it takes courage to walk away from a fight than take part in it!

Last night I rang one of my friends up from the pigging job I left recently and she is fine and tells me she plucked up the courage to hand in her 4 weeks notice last Monday at the pigging job as she isn't happy there with nothing else to go to either same as another girl who worked downstairs who gave in her 4 weeks notice with nothing else lined up as well!

I think it says a lot about the poor way the pigging job is run is when people hand in their 4 weeks notice with nothing else to go to as its not something you do for silly and trivial reasons or for a laugh and a joke!

I feel by accident when they finished me back in September they did me a favour!

I feel weird asking. What is pigging job? Sorry you had to leave a job for those reasons.

It's a job that's horrible is a pigging job!

The actual job title of the job wasn't Pigging job it was a pharmacy assistant but was made horrible by the poor way the place is run which is why colleagues have given in their notice without anything else to go to!

No need to be sorry as I feel they did me a good turn freeing me from that job and I'm glad I saw their true colours before it was too late!

I'm glad it was early when I saw their true colours as if I had worked there for years and then seeing them really would have hurt a lot harder!

I've worked several jobs where the retention rates were like a revolving door, so I feel you. For co-workers who quit without anything lined up, I'm like, how! Do you not have adult responsibilities like bills? I let out a silent "take me with you" as each one of my peers leave. Anyways, jobs suck, ha! Good luck whether you decide to stay or go!

Ah, got it. Getting fired sucks, especially, from a place you didn't even want to be at in the first place. Not sure what the job market in the U.K.'s like, but I wish you luck.

I was one of the first pharmacy technicians in a hospital. I was lucky as I worked with great people, my duties were very diverse and I loved it. I was there for 8 years as I worked on my university degree. If you like pharmacy, try a hospital.
