Stomach issues and Vomitings for my daughter

Hi All,

Its long story about 9 years only daughter.

Since December 2022, my had Covid vaccine in 2021 and she had exposed to Covid on 2022 December.

After this, She had first episode of 25 times of Vomitings in an hour and stomach pain on December 24th morning, We rushed to ER they said it could be bug and gave lots pain killers and IV and she kind of settled and they sent us home.

On 31 Decemeber again same episode occured(25 times vomtings in an hour and pain) we rushed to ER, they did MRI and said she has Mild Appendix and they dont want to remove and they did same medications like last time and sent us home.

On 23th January 2023 , it happened same and this time we requested to remove Appendix thinking thats is the reason and they removed and kept 3 days and sent us home.And after the surgery they did MRI and said all ok

On Feb 3rd again same thing happened, again went to hospital , they did same heavy medications and IV and sent us home once she felt ok

On Feb 25 th again same episode and they did same and sent us home.GI doctor asked us to book for Colonoscopy and Endoscopy .

On March 7th we had Endoscopy and Colonoscopy , they found nothing.

Again April 7th again same episode and they did same and sent us home.

Again April 25th again same episode and they did same and sent us home but they are saying basically they cant do anything and we need to try alternate medication .

In between this episodes also she has severe stomach pains but not Vomitings.

We are so frustrated and worried what happening with her health. She just turned to 10th but this all started when she was 9.

Please can any one helps or have similar cases .Please we are so desperate .

Hi Vicoria, I am so sorry that you don't have a firm resolution and the Drs aren't finding a root cause. I don't know how many specialists you have seen or second opinions you have had... She has not had vomiting episodes for a few months? Could it possibly be anxiety and panic attacks? Can an organization like St. Judes or a children's hospital help?

I am sorry to hear this. Anything would have come up in endoscopy. Did they take samples from stomach wall? They should have for biopsy.

Could this be psychological? Fear of vaccine?

My daughter almost passed out with third vaccine immediately after. We found no reason why.

Hope she feels better soon. Have you tried herbal meds. Homemade Ginger tea?
