hi! I have been on depression medication fir 10 years and I feel like it has lost its affects. It has kept me stable, but has almost made me feel like I am flat. Its hard for me to be social. I am scared to come off the medication. I am an extremely tired person who lacks motivation and energy. So, when you mix depression into the mix, I feel like I am just going through the motions each day just surviving. I feel like everyday is a wasted day because I do not have any motivation to better myself. Does anyone have any alternative experiences they have tried to help boost mood and energy? I know doctors will just say diet and exercise, but I feel like I am missing something that I could be doing

For me I have to change meds every so often. My nody becomes so used to them they quit being effective. I’m on wellbutrin and a new one can’t recall it’s name right now but I was taking them both in the a.m. and I was exhausted from the get go. Now I take one in the a.m. and the other in the afternoon and it has helped a lot. Not quite so tired all day and I haven’t taken a nap since I switched. Have you had bloodwork done lately? You could be anemic or low on b12. Um also I am supposed to use a cpap for sleep apnea. That can affect your energy level too. Just a few suggestions. Hope you find an answer. It sucks being exhausted all the time.
