I don’t know what to do

I’m feeling worse last 6 months. One day I realized I don't want to live, to excist at all. And I'm not suicidal, I don't want to end my life or anything like that. I just don't have any desire or motivation to exisct and I don't see the point to looking for any of it. I want to dissapear, to stop thinking and feeling and trying to adapt to life and all of it aspects.

oh AstaLa88 you are not alone. I think most of here feel the same way. I struggle with that same thing day after day. Thank God for this place!! I know people understand. Please keep posting here. There’s always someone here.

Howdy AstaLa. I am glad that you are not suicidal. I know that not having any zest for life is another heap of sadness and I am sorry that you are going through that right now. I would seize on anything that might give you a bit of pleasure whether it be looking at pictures of animals to having a bubble bath.

I think that therapy would be great to try too. You may even try "Get out of your mind and into your life" by Steven Hayes or another book.

The other responses are correct, you certainly are not alone in your feelings. I wish you peace, hope, and drive.

Totally understand those feelings. Life just seems pointless and there doesn't seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel. 20 years of it on and off and I still get it! As hard as it is atm, you need to acknowledge that your brain is basically tripping. It's struggling to comprehend your feelings and it's chucking a default code at you. If you haven't already, you should seek help from a doctor. You're not alone! There's a lot of us. You need to let people know, accept it is an illness and it isn't your fault. There are things to make you feel better but it's a lifetime illness. You just learn to cope I guess 🤷 when I get like it I try to avoid people and I try to put music on. It's important to find things that can distract you until it's passed. I'll be honest, sometimes I'll have a few drinks if I'm bad just to distract myself but admittedly that's not great advice 😁 look after yourself you deserve it
