It sounds delightful! The coastal towns appear beautiful with their rocky cliffs along the ocean. I've always wanted to go to Scotland. Due to the T.V. show "Outlander," Scotland has quite a following in the States.

Yes it's ready to roll now, a few thousand pounds down the line, and a lot of work, but I enjoy doing it .

Sounds perfect, I wish I could still drive; would be off like a shot. Used to have a VW Camper! (Cram the kids in and the tents; {they had their own} and away!)

Right now, my part of West Wales has just started the annual Grockle Migration, ( maybe a thought to put off hauling the van around and just look for a Landy;).

September the weather is still usually good, but less crowds! Even October can be nice, but you will need to research Camping sites to make sure you can pitch up with an electrical hookup during Winter Months. The joys of finding the site standpipe frozen in the mornings! (always keep a container to hand for that morning cuppa!)

Before you move your van, make sure everything is battened down. Nothing worse than finding half your china is smashed. (personally, I get the Melamine stuff, it survives better!)

A lot of sites close during the winter months, which is why the research is essential!
