Hi, so infrequently if I have night where I don't sleep peacefully meaning more tossing and turning than usual and some dreams that don't make sense but aren't nightmarish I seem to wake up with with back pain. Most other nights I sleep in my bed just fine and do not wake up with pain. I have a history of pain with anxiety when I'm at work or in a staff meeting. When I am relaxed I don't have the pain other than if it has lingered from a bad nights sleep before, does anyone else have pain with anxiety??????

Talk to me about the symptom of pain r/ t anxiety?
Peacely, Going into a deep REM sleep is a regenerative form of relaxation both
for the mind and the body. When we don't get a restful night, our bodies are on
high alert, making our muscles tighten which can possibly cause trigger points
producing body pain.
When we are awake, anxiety can cause body pain because of the stance we hold
ourselves in. Shoulders up to our ears, head/neck jutted forward, breathing a
little quicker. All this producing a stressful state again, both of mind/body.
For myself, I use Mindful Meditation both before sleep as well as upon awakening.
Breathing through your stressful states can reduce, heart rate, blood pressuse as
well as well those tense wound up muscles. Watching your body language during
your work meetings as well as breathing exercises can and will reduce pain levels. xx
Some nights I wake myself up kicking at something in my dream and will be stiff and sore from it. Anxiety thinking does cause us to blow things up totally out of proportion and hyperfocus on our body sensations so it could just be your anxious thinking.
