I feel this 100%. I hate the ups and downs of depression and how they sap energy. I physically slump and walk super slow when it hits. I just can’t lift my shoulders.

The one thing I look forward to is going to sleep because the next day *might* be better. I’m sorry you have to go through this, too. It’s agony.

Agony is an excellant adj to how I experience each day. I feel like Im going to loose everything tomorrow. Gave alot of my possessions away. Place real empty now. Went out yesterdsy walked at snails pace. Im in bad area and no good place to go to. Stay in apt. and ruminate.

I’m impressed you went for a walk (that’s a huge deal in my mind) - the fresh air is so good for you. I’m in place that is very hot so I sit at my window and watch the birds. I feel lame saying that but watching and listening to birds helps me stay in the moment rather that forecast or ruminate. It might be worth a shot - put a small bird feeder on your porch or somewhere by a window. I recently read that birdsongs are beneficial to our mental health: neurosciencenews.com/birds-...

You are doing the best you can with what you have. (((Hug)))

I too get hit with bouts of loneliness. It sucks. I'm trying to build a larger network of friends but it's hard. Have you though about volunteering somewhere? This helps others and you won't be alone as much. Your local United Way or Chamber of Commerce usually has a list of charitable organizations in the area that take volunteers. You might make some new friends there.
