im seeing Taylor Swift at Gillette stadium tomorrow and I’m excited but also nervous due to the large crowd. I’m worried I’ll get covid even though it’s outside. I also have a dumb and irrational fear that someone near me will throw up. Finally I’m worried about getting home with all the traffic. My boyfriends friend is coming with us. She’s very nice and I’ve met her before but she might stay at my apartment which is also causing some anxiety.

It sounds like a fun night..try to stay more in the present moment. Worrying is such a huge waste of time about things they might never happen. Sometimes it helps to write our thoughts down and talk back to them.I don't think you have anything to worry about. Go have a great time.
I think you would regret not going more than you would regret going. This is a memory that you will have for the rest of your life and you wouldn’t want anything to get in the way of that. I’ve heard it’s an amazing concert and I’m willing to bet you’ll be so enthralled by her performance you’ll forget about your worries. Singing and dancing is so good for the soul. I hope you have fun!
I am a kindred spirit when it comes to Covid and large crowds. I have been desensitizing myself by forcing myself to go to places with large crowds, and it is working. I have been to Disneyland, to a major league baseball game, and to a large protest. I didn't end up with Covid, and each time that happened, it reduced my anxiety. It helped to leave myself a "way out" by driving my own car so that I could leave if I needed to. I hope you decide to go, because you will have so much fun.
