hello . I suffer from social phobia and panic attacks since i was a preteen. I've never been able to afford therapy or medication so im always trying to find ways to cure or at least help it on my own. So far I've had very little luck despite trying many different tips the past 13 years.
Does anyone know if taking certain vitamins helps with the symptoms of anxiety so its at least manageable. My symptoms of anxiety are, constant nervousness, dissociation, mental fog, lack of focus in social settings, racing heart etc. Ive tried CBD oils but that has been money wasted as i felt no difference. I know some people smoke but I'm worried that will make it worse.
any help appreciated

I've tried CBD oil before to it did nothing for me also. But maybe CBD gummybears? I don't know if there is a difference at all? But someone suggested that to me before I've tried them but still didn't feel any different but you can try it could work for you, we are all different how our bodies react to things that may work for some or not so much for others. Idk sorry if that didn't answer your question. It's just a thoughts I had.
Try just regular GABA...Not gabapentin that's a drug...regular Gaba us safe, help w anxiety,s and is SAFE..takes week or so.take at PM..you'll sleep better w vivid dreams..not nitemares...it replenishes gaba in brain safely. Hope this may help..I was taken off a benzoyl med I was on for years.i went 28days w no sleep and gaba helped me through a insane time..buy a high quality one,and give it time, Google gaba. Not gabapentin...it's nasty...
I know this is an older post but wanted to add. Magnesium, Reishi mushroom and ashwaghanda. As well as a GABA supplement with lemon balm. They certainly aren’t going to be anywhere near as good as an ssri or anti anxiety med. But are so what helpful. However, by the time you buy supplements you could get a prescription for an ssri. Using good rx you can pay like $4 a month without insurance. There’s lots of online places you can make an appointment without insurance and pay a base fee.
I hate to say this but prescription meds seem to be the best response to anxiety, depression and panic. BUT I also think you need to meet with a psychologist to talk through your issues and learn on how to cope with them (in person not online). I take a Vitamin B Complex and that does seem to help. I also have had success with Magnesium. Just make sure you take the correct amount for your age, etc. Make sure you are getting outside and letting the sun shine on you-free Vitamin D! It does a lot of good.
I have read through some of your posts and I can tell you are a highly intelligent, caring person. Know that you are a good person. Know that you are not lazy. Know that you will probably not get help from those that don’t understand.
I grew up being told I was lazy and before I knew it I started to believe it. It was not true! I probably was going through the same thing you are. I wouldn’t let someone (my Mom) tell me what I was.
I am telling you, I can read your posts and know you are a smart, caring individual. Now you have to believe that also - it is true!! You can do whatever you want to do. Once you believe in yourself and move forward, all the other things will begin to fall into place. You will have so many friends you won’t have time for all of them. I know you don’t know me from Adam, but trust me. Not sure if you are a spiritual person but I think God has a great plan for you!
