Help w/ Social anxiety

Need help with Social anxiety. I'm so tired of this shit. I can't even go outside for a walk and feel calm I'm always nervous and it's ruining my life. Any one with resources you use or know about that could help please respond.

I still deal with being socially anxious. I listen to relaxing music beforehand to get calm, try to listen to relaxing music while out too. Think of happy thoughts , believe these thoughts ...it is tacky/cliche but it works.

Bring a book out with you, read , be calm.

Social anxiety is a dibilitating condition which can impact as you've found affect your daily life! Have you seen a doctor yet as it maybe a case of depression which can be a easy fix of a short term anti depressants! Try not to listen to posts on Google! Groups like this one can be a better as it's full of people who will have at sometime experienced what you are going through I hope you can find the advice you need good luck david

Yes I've seen docs already and I do have depression but it's a lot better now, it's been years tho, since I was freshman in highschool. I just can't seem to function in life like everyone else does so easily . Thanks for advice tho

Try calming teas. Someone told me to bathe with magnesium. Music is good too. Hope this helps.
