🌞 What do you notice that brings some beauty to your life? 🌞

Getting outside and feeling the sun and breeze on my face. Feeling my fear/anxiety lessen. Watching my kids skate. Seeing Coco appreciate her time at the park.

p.s. it’s 1:11 make a wish

😄 Coco is so wise... 💗 makes me miss Hansie 😢- he was good at trying to get me to enjoy the moment. The past 2 (early) mornings Clyde (our fluffy kitten) has cuddled on my chest, softly purring. Been comforting. You have reminded me to take a nature mindfulness break later- will be good to feel the sun & breeze, smell the flowers (our roses are in full bloom) & hear the birds.

next doors cat comes to me in the garden for some attention, then just sits and purrs and rubs her head on me wanting a scratch, very relaxing. also got some frogs in the pond now, build it and they will come they said and they did

I actually don’t know where it came from… it may sound silly, but, since I was a kid if the numbers of time were all the same like 11:11 or 2:22 etc it is a good time to make a wish and I also heard that 1s specifically are angel numbers ha! So they are more ready to help at that time. I always have loved making wishes, especially as tossing a coin in a fountain.

I love watching my bird feeders, and watching the sky. Clouds, stars all of it is beautiful. This is my favorite time of year because most days you can see the sun and the moon each morning.

I was just saying yesterday to my Lina "As you are sailing thru the mosaic panorama of life, don't forget to stop and feed the cat" She always looks so bored and distracted when I talk to her until I hit key phrases or words she understands, "Feed the Cat". My kids were the same way growing up. It was like watching Charly Brown listening to adults talk, "Wah, wah, wha,, wha wah wah wah"

[Mumbutterfly]

Mother’s Day bouquet and butterfly earrings my two youngest brought me yesterday. They came early since I’ll be working this weekend. It was wonderful getting to see them and visit with them for a little while. My schedule had changed and had worked the night before and stayed up to visit when I got home instead of going straight to bed as I usually do. I had been up for over 24 hours by the time I went to bed but it was worth it.

The visit seemed to go well. I was just hoping and praying I wouldn’t say or do anything to make things any more awkward than they already are. I don’t think I did but sometimes I don’t find out about it until sometime later. So many subjects are touchy that it’s hard to know what to say. I mainly just try to get them to talk about things in their lives that they want to share.

Anyway, they brightened my day and my outlook on life and our relationships. I’m more hopeful that things will get better between us and more accepting that letting things go and focusing on our own healing will eventually help things to get better. My fears have eased a little and that helps too.
