Where can one find help with alcohol addiction for a loved one? My anxiety is high with this and I'm trying my best to stay positive. Maybe even a source just for me to help deal?

Alcohol
Getting help for a loved one can be difficult as they have got to admit to themselves that they have an alcohol problem. Once they have done that, there are lots of places where they can get help. An alcoholic must stop drinking totally for life or the illness will just take over again. Ideally they need a professional mentor they can turn to when things become difficult and they start yearning for a drink. Alcoholics can be quite devious at hiding the problem from others. They need an enormous amount of support.
Hello, I'm an alcoholic in recovery, and I volunteer with others trying to get well. I echo the reply from LilyAnnepuppy piglette . You can't help them unless/until they want to help themselves, and that may be years in the future. You can look after yourself - "self-care is not selfish". I hear great things of Al Anon, why not give it a try?
I would suggest Al Anon for you and AA for your loved one. Both are 12 step programs.
I was going to suggest AlAnon as well. Had a friend who for years hid her drinking, I didn't know she had a problem until it got progressively worse and she didn't show up one night to meet another friend and I for dinner. We went to her house and found her passed out in her recliner. Long story short and several missed occasions, her neighbor hadn't seen her for a few days and did a wellness check on her and found her in her bed. She had died from alcohol poisoning... We had expressed our concerns to her frequently but until someone is ready to get help they won't.
