so I’ve been taking Prozac for almost exactly 2 months now. Just added Wellbutrin 2 weeks ago. Starting instantly feeling better the day I started taking the Wellbutrin (along with the Prozac). Then, 4 days ago (so after taking those 2 meds for 10 days), the anxious feelings started back again and now are back in just about full effect.
This just seems crazy. I don’t know what is wrong with me but this is such a frustrating process!!!!

I didn’t do well on the Wellbutrin. It made me too hyper. Maybe check with your doctor?
Hey Kelly. So sorry to hear about the meds loosing effectiveness. I had same feeling with Wellbutrin. Great at first but short lived. I hear you. It’s good, then bad, then so/so. and the rollercoaster ride continues. Med changes, dose changes, 😫 After being on antidepressants for so many years, I’m seriously starting to question their effectiveness, for me personally, and may consider more natural remedies. I’m getting concerned about their long term effects on the chemical makeup of the brain. I know you’re tired of all the changes too but keep bugging your doc about it. They don’t know if we don’t push them for better results. And by the way my friend, there is nothing wrong with you. It’s just the process. I’m right here in the frustration boat with you. 💛
Hi, I have been on Wellbutrin for about 14 years for severe clinical depression. 350mg. I believe it saved my life. I take it with Klonopin (for anxiety and panic attacks) the Psychiatrist added it as I was already on Remeron (45mg). I'm also on Seroquel 200mg and Busphar (for worry and anxiety) and all these medications have been amazing. The first medication I was put on was Prozac and I couldn't handle it. It made me numb..and I had horrible anxiety on it). I think maybe you should give Wellbutrin about 4 weeks to fully get in your system. Any side effects are usually mild and will go away. They did with me. They say to give any antidepressant/antipsychotic at least four weeks to get in your system unless you are having severe side effects. Could they perhaps replace the Prozac with something else? I hope it gets all sorted out for you..
