Good that you are starting therapy again. Could you perhaps ask your psychiatrist to try another med?

Hi Purplerose69 it happens to all of us that in time, medications no longer work.

It could mean just an adjustment of dosage is necessary or a new drug all together.

Seeking professional advice as to addressing any new issues right now can help put

you back on the right path. Finding other methods/tools that can assist you in finding

some calm and peace within is a MUST> Stay focused and believe in that there is

an answer out there. :) xx

I found that meds alone didn't resolve my issues, it took trying to determine what my issues were and getting therapy to help me investigate, understand, process and heal my repressed pain and trauma in order to heal. You might spend time looking back at your childhood and relationship with your parents and how you were parented for clues about the issues you are dealing with. Did you experience trauma in your life and is it affecting you. Do you suffer from low-self-esteem/self-worth. What thoughts and beliefs about yourself, others and life were you programmed to believe by your parents, family, society, etc... becoming aware of the stories you are telling yourself can also help in determining what issues you are dealing with.

A good therapist can help provide you with the insight, understanding, skills and tools to heal but you have to do the work yourself. The more time you can spend about educating yourself about your issues and what you might need to heal the better off you will be in therapy and in healing. There is an amazing amount of info on mental health and healing on youtube. Hope you find meeting with the therapist helpful for you.
