after 3 weeks on 25mg Sertraline daily nausea has finally eased!!!! Feeling much better with my anxiety however, insomnia has now raised its head. Doctor wants me to increase to 50 Mg but wondered how long or if insomnia will go before I increase dosage

Glad to hear your nausea has passed. I was on Setraline for a year before I got my diagnosis as bipolar. It worked well for me after an increase to 150 mg. I never had trouble sleeping but sometimes just switching drugs has strange effects. Hang in there, sounds like it’s already getting a bit better. 💚

but it is so so slow! I’m so impatient. I haven’t taken a diazepam as I don’t think it would help but I do have a full box of mirtazapine and was wondering whether to take approx 3.5 mg tonight as a one off? Mirtazapine gave me wonderful sleeps - along with severe reflux!

Hmm, I’m on 50 mg Seroquel for sleep. In the past I’ve also taken Trazodone. Not saying these will work for you but might be something you can ask your doc about?

I’ve got a doctors call on Monday as it’s 3 weeks on Sertraline so if I’m still suffering I’ll see what she suggests. Have my Covid booster today so that may be why I was more anxious at night. I’ve got a drawer full of medications that I can’t take!!

had a wonderful day yesterday completely back to my normal self on day 24 at 25mg . Went out, ate normally and no side effects. My doctor rang me last night to check up on me. She was so cautious. She said I may well find the next few days it will slip back. Not to worry, quite normal, but not to think everyday will be great. Was she right!! This morning slight nausea has returned, which in turn causes anxiety to return. It’s a long long road!!!

doctor has increased my dose to 50mg. Oh no, nausea returned with a vengeance. I’ve read this can happen but hope it disappears quickly
