Hello. I have to admit I'm a little nervous about joining a support
group. I have read that it can be helpful. I have suffered with anxiety since my early teens.
I did not discover that my struggle had a name until I was almost 40 years old. Anxiety sucks and I hate its stinking guts. It has robbed me of plenty.
However, I am so blessed to be in therapy, have access to medication and have a supportive family. I still struggle and will always face challenges, but I am generally happier now than I was say 7 or 8 years ago.
I hope I will be a positive asset to the community and can learn from your experiences and comments. I think I need another source of support.

Welcome aboard! It is definitely helpful here and I think it's a great addition to your already great plan for managing your anxiety. I also find that it's satisfying to help others as much as they help me on here. All of us sharing our issues or even some small "hacks" to getting through situations is super helpful. Cheers and welcome!
welcome here! I'm glad you're doing better than 7-8 years ago! That's 👍
